I DID IT!

I PASSED MY STATE BOARD WRITTEN EXAM!

Praise the Almighty Lord.

For reals, yall. This is a ginormous achievement that I worked super hard to get. I have had no life for the past week. No work. No friends. No talking. Nothing but studying. It was kind of fun though. I think the Lord is showing me that I am ready for college. For real. Hes so fun that way.

Anyways.

Thanks for all the prayers and support over the past year.

Summer, where did you go?

I guess that whole thing about God knowing the plans He has for me and the whole His plans are His plans, not mine, isn't something I was really expecting to slap me in the face so soon.

I had planned to be done with school in May, guess what?

Summer school, here I come.

I am a little bummed, but God has a purpose for everything.

He is good and so are His plans. :)

Tax return...

Every year, We do taxes.

Every year, We get a tax return.

Every year, We do something with that money.

This year, Brittany will be using her $630 for something amazing.

Its called an iphone.

Have you heard of it?

I just found out of this great invention.

It is the most amazing technology ever.

Being Content.

You know what is super freeing?

Knowing that whatever you do, God already knows about it.

Every decision I make, He knows. He knows my every move.

You know what else is freeking awesome?

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."

-Jeremiah 29:11

So often, when I hear people use this verse, I am very quick to judge. I am so quick to look at that person and think what a cliche. "You are gonna use that verse again...?" "Way to be original!"

Wow, could I be any more of a jerk?

This is Gods word. Not mine. Not yours. Not His. Not hers. GODS! Praise the Lord that He has grace on me.

Back to the verse, I am so beyond grateful for this verse. His love is so perfect that He has everything planned for me. I can pray and seek and pray and seek that I am doing His will, but in the end, all I can do is run through a door that is open and stop when the door is closed.

For that I am content. I am content in knowing that as long as I seek the Lord and am walking with Him, He is going to make my path known. If my decisions involve others, then as long as I am walking with Him and they are walking with Him, the decision that is being made will be the Lords. Praise God!

Even if its not the outcome I want, Its Gods. Its what He wants for me. It just means that He has something better to come, not only better for me but better in the other light as well.

So, again, for that I am content. Content in knowing His plans are His plans. Content in knowing His love and His grace. Content in Him.

Brides Bouquet

I am definatly attracted to anything that looks sweet, girly and southern. That means that pink, almost any shade, (yes, Blush and Bashful) is almost always appealing to me.

If you don't already know this about me, I LOVE weddings. I am on my life track of becoming and wedding coordinator. Right now, I am finishing up my Cosmetology school and I am working in the floral department

at a grocery store.

I want to start throwing in different wedding ideas here and there to show my passions.

Here is my favorite bridal bouquet.

It is so elegant simple. There is only one flower throughout the entire bouquet, and the pinks are so gorgeous.

I am slightly obsessed with theknot.com... You will most likely see a lot from them on my blog.

In the past 24 hours

I have:

1. Started and Completed my 2010 taxes all by MYSELF!

2. I have completed my Fafsa for the fall semester.

3. I applied for my summer job.

4. I scheduled my written exam for my state board.

5. I found out how much school I have left.

Thats all the super important things.

I managed to let the pollen get the best of me. :( Seriously, these allergies are going to kill me. I woke up at 4am this morning unable to breath and so I got up took to much medicine and went to school for all of 4 hours. I could not function. I came home and slept for about 5 hours, much needed and woke up feeling hungover. Awesome.

Now, I am going to try and get better so that I can be at school tomorrow physically and mentally and work all night around flowers that have pollen in them. YAY for loving a job that you are allergic to.

Have I told you guys yet that I am going to college in the fall?

Hmmmm...I think I will share that story soon.
