If and Then.

Have you ever heard the saying, "If you do this, then you get that?"
Well, I have decided that now that I am on the journey of living my life for the Lord in EVERY area of my life, I am a person who likes to reward myself. So, here are my goals for somethings in life.
Are you ready?

1. "Do you not know your body is a temple of the holy spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought with a price, therefore honor God with your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19
This verse has so been in my heart over the past few weeks and I finally decided that the only way I could honor God with my body was with His help and His direction. I have had much encouragement from those around me, (cough Becky Kiser cough) and now am working to a reasonable goal of losing 40lbs. I am confident that the Lord can help me through this and will. I am His and am fearfully and wonderfully made. I know He loves me for me. I want to do this to live out a healthier and more active me.

2. I AM going to completely pay off ALL of my debt.
The first thing I must finish is paying off my credit cards. I cut them both up and am now in the ever so long and terrible of paying them off. (WOA-NEVER EVER EVER GET A CREDIT CARD! IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL, AND IF YOU HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING UNDER $1,000 ON YOUR CREDIT CARD, ITS NOT WORTH IT!)
Secondly,  I am going to pay off my student loans. Its not a ton of money, but it is there and I hate it!

Once both of these things are accomplished, I will treat myself to somethings. Im not exactly sure yet what they will be, but I have some ideas. What do you think? What would you treat yourself to? Help a sister out. Love you guys!
Dear stomach muscles in me (aka-Abs)
Tomorrow after noon I have an appointment with you at 4:30. I would really appreciate it if you would show up this time. I love getting to spend time with you, but I feel like you wait forever to come around and actually start working. Maybe we could try harder. That would be fun. Also, do you think that maybe, just maybe you could start to look differently and feel differently so that the little 7 year old boys at work wouldn't poke you like your the pillsbury dough boy? I feel really sorry for you and your self esteem. I will pray right now for you. Thanks for working hard today and yesterday. You are doing good. Keep going. 40 lbs to go. You can do it!
Love,
Britt

AMEN!

Can I get an amen for my last day of school?

AMEN!

This semester was my first time back at school in 2 1/2 years. Holy Jesus! I can honestly say that I would never ever recommend taking that much time off of school, because, Yes, it is true, It is so so so much harder to go back after that long. But, I will give myself a pat on the back for actually going. I have pursued my dream of being a hairdresser and the Lord is good and faithful to bless me through the entire process. All praise, honor and glory goes to God the Father. He is good!

My Top 10 Favorite Things

I was trying to think of a fun post to write, and this is what I decided would be fun for me. The top 10 are in no particular order, they are just fun.
:)

1. My Mac
2. My awesome NASB Bible that mentor Nat gave to me for my 20th birthday.
3. Chacos
4. Jewelry
5. Brownies
6. Swimming
7. The SUN
8. The Beach, I guess you pretty much have to love the sun if you love the beach. :)
9. Hair-its what I do
10.DRESSES!!!!

So, I love my Mac, but am definatly jealous of people who have the newest titanium mac, because its just so beautiful. My chacos are so my best friend, I would wear them with all my pretty 40 something dresses if I wouldn't look like a fool. Brownies are my weakness and definatly contribute to the 25ish pounds that I've managed to put on since moving to the city of concrete and fat. When I first moved to Texas, I was working at an awesome camp, camptejas.org, and started swimming a whole lot. Now, I LURVE it! I am from an awesome smallish town called Daphne, Alabama and its only about 20-30 minutes form the most beautiful beach ever, Galveston aint got nothing on Gulf Shores.

If you are ever interested in an awesome hair cut or color, I know this awesome hairdresser, she is amazing....if you are interested, you should give me a shout!
Love you guys.

payday.

Finally!
I feel like I have never had to wait so long for a payday. I have set an amazing record for myself, I haven't been to the grocery store in a whopping 3 weeks. CRAZY! I usually go every week, but since the money has not been there, the groceries have not either. Somehow, though, God has continually provided food and even money to get gas and dinner a couple nights. Its so great to see the Lord provide for me. He is so faithful. He has also really humbled me in this time of need, showing me the difference between what I need and what I want. Lets just say the list of wants is much longer. Sometimes I am just never content. He is faithful in every area. To teach and to give to me. I love you Jesus, You are awesome. Praise you for the paycheck you are giving me tomorrow. Praise you for the jobs you have given me. You are amazing.

perms.

You're born. You live. and then You die.
The perm was born. It has lived. and now, it should die. Well, at least I think it should.
The smell, I can handle. (its not the kind of smell that I would call, refreshing, but it isn't one that I can't handle.) But, the acutal sectioning and rodding of an entire head, so NOT necessary. I hate it. I think that sometimes, yes, they are needed, but isnt that what a curling iron or hot rollers are for. This is an ode to the day that the perm will die. Please, Lord, any day now. Thank you.

A fabulous Life
