I knew I wanted an Iphone about a year ago whenever I got to play with several of my friends. I have been holding out because my sweet parents have agreed to pay for my cell phone until I get out of school, and that is a HUGE blessing. I don't have very many bills right now, but an Iphone bill is so freeking expensive. I mean, really...$100 bucks for a phone. WOW! I graduate in May and I think I will cave in. What do you think? Is it worth it?

I recently, well in November, decided to try my best at being a red head and I think, and have heard, that I pull it off, but pretty much the past 6 years of my life I have been blonde for a good 80% of the time. Every spring I decide to bleach out my brown (or red) locks and go for a fun blonde highlighted look,but then somehow half way through the summer I am all over blonde again. Ha! I think I just cant help myself. I go overboard with the foil and bleach. Needless to say, after all that product takes out all my color, I am left with the texture close to straw and a color pretty close to a lemon or and orange in some spots. Well, a couple of years ago, while I was working at a salon in Alabama, I came across Bed Head. I thought I would go ahead and try out anything and everything I could to get my hair back to a normal color and texture. I tried out this stuff, and it worked wonders for my lemon straws. The purple shampoo counter acts with your yellow and neutralizes it so then it comes out a more white or platinum blonde, instead of the yellow. The conditioner is so fabulous that you should only use it once every 2 or 3 days. It is very conditioning, and if you have mild natural oils already, you will have OVERLY oily hair if you use it every single day. (You should ALWAYS alternate your shampoo and conditioner-You hair starts to build a so called immunity to product and will not do what it is supposed to anymore.)

I think Im in love.

I am that girl who loves to wear my hair a thousand different ways. I have naturally wavy hair that is medium and somewhat thick. I love a good product that is like a hairspray but with texture and can have movement as well. I found my match. I seriously am in love.

You can use this as a hairspray, as a root amplifier or simply on your fine hair to give you a little, as I like to say, "UMPH" or boost. This stuff is awesome. Try it out. Look for it on amazon or ebay. Loving you all.

First week. Done.

This past Tuesday, after a much needed break from school, I started back to my last semester of Cosmetology school. For those of you who don't know me very well, it has been a long time coming that the Lord has worked on me and refined me to be able to go and finish this journey. I started last January and have endured a full year of some pretty crazy times. I have been in the same room for the past year with the same 20 something girls and the same teacher. It is bananas. That many girls in one room, lets just say its not always our finest moments. But, with that said, I love these girls and am truly going to miss them when this is all said and done.

This semester is by far going to be the hardest and most emotionally and physically trying. I have pretty much not done the best that I could do at staying in school the amount of hours that I need to. So, now I MUST stay at school. My first class starts at 7:30am. Can I get a wow! That is so early for me. I don't even know how I did it in high school. I can definatly feel that I am getting older. Haha. I usually wont get to leave school until 5pm and sometimes 6pm Monday-Thursdays. Another, WOW! I am having to cut down on my work hours, which is kind of a bummer, seeing as my finances need me to work as much as possible . I know that my God will supply all my needs and that He will totally take care of it all. He is good.

I have a new teacher this semester, Miss Bee. She is AWESOME! She is such a wonderful teacher and so full of knowledge. I feel like my passion is on fire again. I can see the light. I feel like I have learned more in the past 3 days then I did all last semester. Its bananas. I love it.

So, week one is done. I am praying for the Lord to continue to refine me and make me love what I do. I pray that He would show me that this is all for Him and He will provide an amazing job for me in the end of all this. Im excited to see what He does for my life.

Thanks to all of you continue to pray for my strength in finishing this task that He has put at my hands. He is so sweet. His love for me continues to surprise me daily. I am so not deserving of such a wonderful God.
